Knowledge Base
Upload your runbooks, configs, and team docs to get answers specific to your environment.
The knowledge base lets you upload your own documentation so the assistant can reference it alongside its built-in engineering knowledge.
How It Works
Upload a document once. Every future question automatically searches your uploaded docs alongside built-in vendor knowledge. Personal and team results are always prioritized over generic documentation.
Built-In Vendor Knowledge
Damira includes pre-ingested practitioner knowledge for major network vendors and infrastructure services — no uploads needed. This knowledge is available to all tiers automatically.
Covered vendors and domains: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Arista, Infoblox, and multi-vendor network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP).
Your uploaded documents layer on top of this built-in knowledge. Personal and team docs are always prioritized in search results.
Personal Knowledge Base
Your personal knowledge base is private to your account.

Managing Documents
From the dashboard you can view all uploaded documents, see chunk counts and quota usage, and delete individual documents or clear everything.
Team Knowledge Base
Team docs are shared across your organization. When any team member asks a question, the assistant searches team docs first. Requires a Team plan or higher.
What to Upload
- IP address schemes and VLAN maps
- Device inventories with hostname, model, IP, and role
- Runbooks for common operational tasks
- Naming conventions for devices, interfaces, and VLANs
- Change procedures and checklists
Security

- Personal docs are only accessible by your account
- Team docs are scoped to your organization
- All documents are stored encrypted at rest
- The assistant uses your docs to improve answers but does not share them with other users or use them for training
